Research Interest

I obtained my PhD thesis at the University of Liège (Belgium) in 2018, working numerically and theoretically on active transport in the context of surface phenomena. I studied the physical principles of self-propulsion and micro-swimming, and I developed memory kernels to understand bimodal diffusive dynamics. Willing to switch my skills and knowledge to biological problems, I joined the PULS group to investigate the growth dynamics of epithelial tissues and its relation to the mechanical environment of the cells, originating from both the extracellular matrix and neighboring cells, integrating also their active properties in terms of division and collective migration.
